Garnet Move Up National Poll
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- The Swarthmore men's soccer team moved up one spot, to No. 23 in the nation, in the latest NSCAA/adidas Division III poll released on Sept. 9.
Swarthmore continued an offensive resurgence last week, picking up a 5-1 victory over the St. Mary's (Md.) Seahawks.
This week the Garnet play two tough road matches. Today the Garnet face Eastern University, who reached the second round in the 2007 Division III NCAA Tournament. On Saturday, Sept. 13 the team travels to Hoboken, N.J. to take on fifth-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology (4-0).
