Garnet Fall in N. Jersey
EWING, N.J. -- Willy Nolan picked up a win at No. 4 singles as the Swarthmore men's tennis team fell 8-1 at the College of New Jersey Friday afternoon.
Nolan needed little time to roll past Corey Ball, winning 6-2, 6-4. Nolan's classmate Brian Nalitt dropped a tough decision at No. 2 singles, just falling to Roger Mosteller 6-4, 6-7, 10-8.
The Garnet (1-8) hit the road again on Saturday, April 7, traveling to Baltimore, Md. to face 21st-ranked Johns Hopkins at 1:00 p.m.
