Green Terror Come Back on Swarthmore

WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel rallied, down two games, to defeat visiting Swarthmore 3-2 in Centennial Conference volleyball action on Saturday afternoon.  The Garnet (9-4, 2-1 CC) were led by senior outside hitter Erica George with 13 kills and 22 digs while fellow captain Katherine Gold '08 added five blocks.

The Green Terror improve to 9-4 overall and 1-0 in the Centennial, winning by scores of 25-30, 25-30, 30-17, 30-24, 15-9. 

Garnet sophomore outside hitter Jen Wang contributed a team-high 14 kills and 25 digs, classmate Erin Heaney added 22 digs, and freshman setter Kearney Bangs passed out 43 assists.

Swarthmore returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 26, traveling to Bryn Mawr for a 7:00 p.m. match.
