Chaplin Runs Fast Again
Junior Vernon Chaplin continued to put up fast times, this time taking third place in the mile run at the McElligott Invitational on the campus of Haverford College.
Chaplin crossed the line in a time of 4.22.38, the fifth fastest in school history. He finished a few seconds behind winner Ryan Fannelly from PTC.
Senior Paul Thibodeau ran 11th (2:03.27) in the 800 meter race, followed in by classmate Adam Hunt in 14th (2:04.18). Erik Saka '09 was the top Garnet finisher in the 3000 meter run, coming in 20th place a time of 9:11.17.
Tyler Lyson '06 came in 18th (24.69) in the 200 meter run followed in by Yoi Tibbetts (23rd - 25.15).
