Swarthmore Ranked 16th
Swarthmore men's tennis has been ranked 16th in the country and fourth in the Atlantic South region, according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings. The ITA fall rankings list the top 30 Division-III teams in the nation and the top handful of teams in each region. The University of California-Santa Cruz leads the national rankings, and Emory University (GA) is ranked first in Swarthmore's region.
The Garnet welcome three Division I opponents to the Faulkner Courts and then will face six top-30 teams this spring, including the top-ranked Banana Slugs on March 6.
Along with its national and regional rankings, Swarthmore had individual players ranked among the top players in the region. In singles, Zach Rodd '06 is ranked fourth, while Jon Reiss '07 is ranked seventh. In the doubles listing, the team of Brian Park '06 and Rodd is ranked fifth.
