Chryssikos, Coughlin Selected for North/South Classic

Two Swarthmore College men's lacrosse players have been selected to compete in the 64th annual STX-Geico North/South Classic hosted by United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse at SUNY-Cortland in Cortland, NY on June 11.  Senior Tim Chryssikos (Ellicott City, MD / Loyola Blakefield) was selected as an attackman for the STX-Geico Division III South Team, while senior Tom Coughlin (Lutherville, MD / Gilman) was chosen as an alternate in the midfield.

Chryssikos was the top offensive option for the Garnet in 2005, leading the team with 52 points on 26 goals and 26 assists.  The senior ranked third in the CC with 1.86 assists per game, fourth with 3.71 points per game, and 10th with 1.86 goals per game.

Coughlin, a fellow tri-captain, was second on the team with 30 points on 16 goals and 14 assists.  The senior ranked 14th in the Centennial with 1.00 assists per game.

Chryssikos and Coughlin are the eighth and ninth Swarthmore men's lacrosse players selected to play in the North/South game.
