Matt Gustafson ’05 recorded 24 points to become Swarthmore’s (2-13, 1-7 CC) all-time leading scorer in the Garnet’s 63-56 Centennial Conference loss at Muhlenberg (8-7, 5-3). Time Change for Muhlenberg Game

Due to the postponement of Wednesday’s men’s game at Muhlenberg, Thursday’s game will now be played as a double-header with the men. The game, initially scheduled for 7:00 p.m., will now start at 6 p.m. and the men’s game will follow at 8:00.

Hobbs Sets New Mile Mark

It didn’t take long for Swarthmore’s newest indoor track record to fall as Sarah Hobbs’ 06 ran 5:16.73 in the mile at the NYU Invitational to best Carrie Ritter’s time of 5:17.4 set last month at a meet in Boston.

The Distance Medley Relay team of Ross Weller, Vernon Chaplin, Tyler Lyson and Eric Sweigard finished in sixth place in a time of 10:52.79 to pace the Garnet at the NYC Collegiate Meet at the New York Armory.
