Results from the First ITS “FedEx/Innovation Time Off” Day

Google is famous for the “Innovation Time Off” program in which employees are encouraged to spend 20% of their time working on projects that interest them. Software developer Atlassian created “FedEx Days” as a “hack day, a one-day creative burst of brainstorming, prototyping and presenting” where employees work on potential enhancements to its products.
