Gradescope is a service used for collecting and grading of paper homework and exams. We’ve received positive feedback from Swarthmore faculty indicating the system makes it faster and easier to grade student work.

In the past, students had to use a phone scanning app to take a picture of their homework and then log into Gradescope to upload their files. There is a new Gradescope mobile app that allows students to submit their assignments directly and view their grades using their mobile device.

Students can download the app for iOS and Android. This should make it easier and faster for students to submit their work. Students can also ask the app to remind them of assignment due dates.
