Swarthmore College dance professor Dr. Pallabi Chakravorty has been invited by the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies at Princeton University to present a lecture entitled, “Culture Turns: Kathak, Nation, and Gender in Contemporary India.” The lecture will be on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 4:30 pm in Rm 216 Aaron Burr Hall, and is sponsored by the Program in South Asian Studies.
