UPDATE 12/14/07 A fixed version of Apple QuickTime is now available, 7.3.1, that resolves the RTSP vulnerability described below. The update can be downloaded from: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ The new version supports Mac OS X v10.3.9, Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later, Mac OS X v10.5 or later, Windows Vista, and Windows XP SP2. QuickTime and iTune users should upgrade at their earliest convenience. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Users of QuickTime are advised to only access QuickTime files from known, trusted sources until a fix is available from Apple. Evision’s Argos Reporting Tool Acquired

It is our pleasure to announce that the College has a new Banner reporting tool: Evision’s Argos. Argos (Adhoc Report Generation and Output Solution) will eventually replace our existing Hummingbird reporting tool after several months of having both fully operational to facilitate the transition. This will be a significant change for many of your staff who use Banner intensively, and training is available. Mathematica license update for faculty & staff

Faculty and staff with Mathematica 5.2 or 6.0 installed on a college owned computer will be prompted to update your password after August 1, 2007. To make the change, first find the Mathematica folder on the data-software server. (First choose either the Mac or Windows folder, then open the Faculty_Staff_only folder.) Please refer to the ReadMe file for the new password that corresponds with your version of Mathematica. Contact the ITS help desk if you have any questions or problems with the update.
