ITS is happy to announce the release of Adobe Creative Cloud! This software can be downloaded from our ITS Software page. What you need to know: Despite the fact that Adobe chose to name the new version “Creative Cloud”, the software is not cloud software and will still be installed locally on to your Mac or PC. The new license allows us to install Adobe Creative Cloud only on college owned computers. Faculty and staff will be able to access the Creative Cloud applications on College-provided laptops on or off campus without needing to connect with the keyserver. You may have heard Apple today announced that OS X 10.9 Mavericks is available as a free update today. However, at this time ITS is recommending that community members NOT update to Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks yet. Although OS X 10.9 offers many new features which may be helpful to you, we need time to identify and resolve any potential incompatibilities with core Swarthmore systems and software before we can support you running the new operating system.
