Would you like to learn more about high-performance computing (HPC)? Are you curious how Swarthmore’s HPC ecosystem can complement your research, pedagogy, teaching, and learning? If so, please attend the HPC 101 session on Monday, September 18th, 12p-2p. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome and encouraged to come. And, lunch will be served!
This event is the second iteration of the successful session offered in June. No experience is necessary! The purpose is to introduce attendees to high-performance computing (HPC), with a focus on two primary areas. First, we will discuss the general architecture of such systems and consider appropriate pedagogical and research use cases. Second, we will cover specifics of accessing and using Strelka, Swarthmore’s local HPC cluster.
