Are you thinking about using Moodle for your Spring courses? ITS will be holding two “Introduction to Moodle” training sessions to help new users transition from Blackboard to our new learning management system. All Spring 2011 courses and enrollments have been loaded into Moodle, so it is easy to get started developing your courses.
In the first half of the class, we will cover logging in, navigation, and adding materials and online assignments to courses. During the second half, participants will have to time to work on their course or explore additional features in Moodle.
The course will be offered at the following times:
- Friday, January 7, 2011 at 9:00AM-10:00AM in Trotter 201.
- Monday, January 10, 2011 at 1:30PM-2:30PM in Science Center 256.
We have three semesters left before turning off Blackboard, so this is a good time to start moving courses and organizations to Moodle. You can check out Moodle by visiting moodle.swarthmore.edu and logging in with your Swarthmore username and password. If you have courses, they will appear on the screen after you log in.
