ITS will be offering HPC 101 on Monday, September 30, 2024, and it is open to anyone from the Swarthmore community. The purpose of this event is to introduce attendees to high-performance computing (HPC), with a focus on the general architecture of such systems and appropriate pedagogical and research use cases. We will cover specifics of accessing and using Firebird, Swarthmore’s local HPC cluster, which is a great resource for research, course projects, and other applications.
