Here are a few ideas from ITS to help with end-of-the-semester tasks.

Timed Take-Home Exams

If you plan to give a take home exam, you can now use either a Moodle quiz or Assignment to administer and collect the exam.

Grades

Moodle is effective at allowing students to see (only) their own grades and calculating course grades. Even if you don’t use Moodle for teaching, it is possible to upload a csv file with grades to share with students. More information at Grading in Moodle.

Course Evaluations

ITS has a number of systems that can be used to run course evaluations. See our help page with information about how to choose: Course Evaluations.

Preparing for Spring

All of the Spring 2024 Moodle courses have been created. If you’ve finished everything else, you can get started on setting up your spring courses! If you don’t see your course, check under the “Future” tab in Moodle.
