SWARTHMORE, Pa. — After more than 23 years of being independent, the Swarthmore men’s tennis team took to the courts in their first-ever Centennial Conference match, handily defeating the Muhlenberg Mules in a 9-0 romp.

Miller Flys to Repeat, Garnet Swimmers Second at CC Championships

LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore sophomore Anne Miller earned a return trip the Division III NCAA Championships, setting Centennial Championship meet record in the 200 butterfly as both Garnet swim teams finished second at the 2008 Centennial Swim Championships held in the Kunkel Aquatic Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College this weekend.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Garnet men’s team opened up the spring with a fighting spirit, led by junior Kevin Shaughnessy’s wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles. Unfortunately the visiting Violets of New York University were the ones exiting the Mullan Tennis Center with a 5-4 victory over Swarthmore Saturday evening.
