2008 Centennial Conference Championship Outlook

The 2008 Centennial Conference swim championships commence for the 15th time on Feb. 22-24 at the Kunkel Aquatic Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. Both Swarthmore swim teams will contend for the Conference championship with swimmers striving for individual and relay medals.

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Garnet senior guard Matt Kurman turned a wintry Wednesday night into the best night of his collegiate career, pouring in a career-high 32 points, including the 1,000th of his career, as Swarthmore fell 94-91 to Washington (Md.) in a high-scoring Centennial Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Swarthmore senior Ian McCormick broke the program record for career rebounds after posting 11 boards Saturday afternoon, while the Garnet (6-17, 2-14) fell to Gettysburg 69-55 in Centennial Conference men’s basketball action in Bream Gymnasium.
