Podcast Studio now located in Martin Hall

The Podcast Studio, which had debuted in Martin Hall in 2021 and had moved to the lower level of Clothier Hall during construction, has returned to the newly renovated Martin Hall. Located in Martin 133, this space features a RØDECaster Pro audio mixer, four microphones and headphones, and a computer to record and edit your podcasts or conversational recordings through Adobe Audition, Garageband, or Audacity. You also have the option to bring an SD card to save your recordings to and edit on your own computer or at the Language Center or Creative Media Commons. Soundproofing materials have been implemented in the construction of the room to help with noise remediation and to provide a professional audio recording environment.

The Podcast Studio is available by appointment. For information regarding access, resources, and help please consult our Podcast Studio KnowledgeBase page or email lmc@swarthmore.edu.

We welcome the chance to discuss developing podcasts for your courses or your academic or personal projects. Email acadtech@swarthmore.edu, and visit our guide on creating a podcast assignment.
