Students in Integrated Media for Performance (THEA 004D) have created some interesting projects this spring. From photos altered by toying with the original code (sometimes by adding lines of Shakespeare) to distorted videos and projection mapping, the class has used media creation to explore philosophical questions. Projects have examined humanity’s inhabitation of virtual spaces, the experience of time as constructed by film, and the idea of “liveness” in the age of artificial intelligence and social media. The videos are fun to watch, and the accompanying blog posts are even more fun to read. You can find everything here.
