Summer Technical Support Associate
Classification: Category III pay rate
Hours: 8:30-4:30 weekdays; starting late May until Aug. 1
Duties: Upgrade faculty/staff computers according to described procedure. This includes backing up files on the old computer, configuring new computer, installing the backed up files on the new computer, installing software and removal of old computer hardware.
Candidate should be:
- very comfortable with the Mac OS and Windows XP Operating Systems
- able to lift and move heavy computer equipment around campus
- able to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- able to work during the full scheduled time period
ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST.
Summer Office Assistant
Classification; Category II pay rate
Hours: 8:30-noon weekdays; starting late May until Aug. 1
Duties: Assist ITS staff with various clerical needs including organization and scheduling of the computer upgrades with individuals.
