#12 Bullets Take Down Garnet
12th-ranked Gettysburg out shot Swarthmore 35-17 on their way to a 18-1 victory at Clothier Field on Thursday afternoon.
Kathy Delauney, Ellie Shihadeh, and Katie Hagan tallied three goals apiece for the Bullets (4-0, 1-0 CC), while Cassidy Zappacosta handed out four assists.
Katie Crawford '07 scored the lone Swarthmore goal, taking advantage of a free position to tally her fourth goal of the season at the 48:30 mark.
Heather Kelley and Susan Meyers split the duties in goal for Gettysburg, with Kelley making seven saves in the first half and Meyers stopping eight shots in the second stanza.
Suzannah Blair '08 took the loss for Swarthmore (2-1, 0-1 CC), making nine saves in the process.
The Garnet make a short trip to Bryn Mawr on Saturday, March 19th to compete in the annual Seven Sisters Tournament.
