Garnet 8th at CC Championships

Led by its strength in the relays the Garnet finished in eight place at the 2005 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship at Dickinson College.

The distance medley relay team of Vernon Chaplin '07, James Golden '05, Keefe Keeley '06 and Tyler Lyson '06 set a school record with a second place finish in a time of 10:27.04. The Garnet's 4x800 relay squad of Golden, Duncan Gromko '07, Keeley, and Paul Thibodeau '06 also earned a silver medal in a school record time of 8:02.77.

Chaplin earned a bronze medal in the 800 crossing the finish line in 1:58.58, while Garrett Ash '05 finished in fourth place in the 3K (8:53.54) and the 5K (15:35.05). The 4X400 relay team also placed fourth in 3:30.69.

Matt Schiller '07 finished in sixth place in the 400 in 52.2 and Lang Reynolds '05 ran fifth in the 5K (15:37.78) and 8th in the 3K in 9:04.46. The 4X200 relay also scored points with a seventh place finish in 1:36.80. Results
