SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Freshman Rebecca Hammond recorded a time of 2:15.33 in the women's 800 M run, earning herself the fifth best time in Swarthmore College history at the Tuppeny Twilight/Last Chance Meet on Monday night.
Swarthmore College hosted the Tuppeny Twilight/Last Chance Meet yesterday where athletes from all over the country in Divisions I, II and III would compete for their chance to earn a trip to the NCAA Track & Field Championships.
Sophomore Kenyetta Givens place third in the 100 M hurdles, defeating two Division I athletes from St. Joseph's University. Given finished with a time of 15.29.
Freshman Sarah Diamond recorded a personal best in the women's javelin with a throw of 21.88.
