Gress To Participate in Pre Season Chat

Fans can find out more about Swarthmore's 2009 men's lacrosse squad and the powerful Centennial Conference as Garnet head coach Pat Gress will participate in the Conference's first-ever preseason chat on CoveritLive.

The Garnet men's lacrosse team, E.C.A.C. Metro/South Region Tournament host and finalist in 2008, has begun preparations for the 2009 season.  Coach Gress (below) returns for his 14th season after leading Swarthmore to a perfect 7-0 non-conference record and its third postseason appearance in eight years.

All nine Centennial head men's lacrosse coaches will participate in the chat this Tuesday, February 10 at noon, answering a few questions pertaining to the upcoming season. The live chat will last approximately 45-60 minutes and can be found on the Centennial Conference blog at centennialconference.blogspot.com.

The Garnet men take to the field on Saturday, February 21 with a pair of pre-season scrimmages at Clothier Stadium, and then will open the 2009 season on February 28 at Eastern.  First face-off is slated for 1:00 p.m.
