Hodson Leads Harriers
ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Swarthmore senior Dan Hodson ran fifth out of 180 competitors at the DeSales Invitational, leading the Garnet men's cross country team to a fifth-place finish on Saturday morning.
Hodson (Trumbull, Conn. / Fairfield Prep) posted a time of 27:16.96, followed closely by classmate Erik Saka (Quincy, Ill. / Quincy) in sixth place (27:22.07). Sophomore Patrick Hartnett (Syracuse, N.Y. / Westhill) also finished in the top-10 with a 27:28.33 time.
Swarthmore totaled 163 points, finishing behind Salisbury (46), Rowan (91), host DeSales (108) and Scranton (149).
