HAVERFORD, Pa. - Swarthmore's Ross Weller '08 led the Garnet men's cross country team while Emma Stanley '09 led the women at the Main Line Invitational on Thursday night.

Weller clocked in at 21:20.10, placing 38th out of 100 runners. Following right behind Weller was sophomore Jonathan Tompkins, who crossed the line at 21:20.60 to place 40th overall. Placing 43rd, Erik Saka '09 finished at the 21:26.20 mark. Jon Shoop '08 finished his four-mile race placing 45th (21:28.60). The fifth Garnet finisher, Micky Katz '08 crossed the line at 21:40.10 while placing 50th.

During the women's three-mile race, Stanley finished sixth at 18:42.60. The second finisher for the women was Ashley Davies '10 came in at 19:05.90 while placing 13th. Placing 17th overall was freshman Caitlin Russell, who completed the race at 19:15.10. The fourth women's finisher Kathy Feeny '09 finished at 19:34.90 coming in at 28th. Marking a 19:37.50 finish was Lauren DeLuca '10, who became the 29th runner to finish the race.

In their next race ,the Garnet will compete in the Paul Short Invite on September 28 at 3:15 p.m.
