Golf: Garnet Compete at G’Burg Spring Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Freshman Michael Bernasek shot a 37 on the back nine, finishing with an 82 as Swarthmore ended up 14th at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon played at the Links at Gettysburg.
Junior Ed Goldstein shot 43-42 on his way to an 85 while classmate Zach Moody was one stroke back with an 86. Sophomore Michael Johns rounded out the scoring with a 91 as the Garnet posted a team score of 344.
Invite champion Susquehanna posted a team score of 296.
The Garnet travel to Neumann College on Friday, March 31 for a 12:00 p.m. tee-time.
