Mules Slip Past Swarthmore 1-0
The Mules' Alissa Constantinople scored at 54:00 to lead Muhlenberg (2-4-2, 1-1-1 CC) to a 1-0 victory over Swarthmore on Tuesday night in Allentown, Pa.
The Mules enjoyed a 19-5 shot advantage, but Garnet goalkeeper Lauren Walker '09 made a couple of huge saves, five total, to keep Swarthmore winthin striking distance. Freshman Kendal Rinko made some excellent plays in the midfield for Swarthmore (2-6-2, 0-2-1 CC).
The Garnet will host Washington on Saturday, October 1 in their next match, a 7:00 p.m. start is scheduled.
