SANFORD, Fla. — Sophomore midfielder Anthony Phalen recorded his first career hat trick and sophomore attack Gavin Musynske contributed two goals and four assists as Swarthmore (4-0, 0-0) rolled to a 13-4 victory over New England College (0-2) on Saturday afternoon.

BALTIMORE, Pa. — The Swarthmore men’s lacrosse team (1-0) started the 2008 season with a convincing 7-2 win over non-conference opponent Randolph-Macon (1-1) in Baltimore, Maryland. Garnet junior attack Stelios Wilson and sophomore attack Gavin Musynske each recorded a hat trick and an assist to lead the way for the Garnet.
