The Swarthmore women’s basketball team will again host the Swat Tip-Off Tournament, welcoming Alvernia, Mary Washington and Wesleyan to campus on November 22-23.

Mullarkey is a third-team selection in the College Division and the lone representative from the Centennial Conference.

FROSTBURG, Md. — Swarthmore senior goalkeeper Lauren Walker stopped Frostburg’s first attempt in the penalty-kick shootout and the Garnet converted all five of their attempts to capture the 2008 ECAC South Region Championship Sunday afternoon in snowy western Maryland. Walker was named Tournament MVP as the Garnet win their second consecutive ECAC South Championship.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — The Franklin & Marshall swim teams left Ware Pool with a pair of victories over hometown Swarthmore Saturday afternoon. Garnet senior Stephen Shymon asserted his position as the top distance freestyler by capturing both the 500 and 1,000 events for the Garnet.
