Garnet Eliminated from Playoffs

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — The Garnet softball team saw its season come to a close Saturday afternoon, falling to Ursinus and Haverford at the 2008 Centennial Conference Softball Championships at Eleanor Frost Snell Field on the campus of Ursinus College.

Two Garnet Women Named All-Centennial

LANCASTER, Pa. — Swarthmore College junior Christine Sendelsky and sophomore Kathryn Riley have been named to the 2008 All-Centennial Conference team. Riley was a first-team selection and Sendelsky received a spot on the second team, as voted on by the conference head coaches.

Garnet Coaches Participate in SRS World of Work Program

On Thursday, May 1st, 2008, Swarthmore’s Harleigh Leach, Head Volleyball Coach and Eric Wagner, Head Men’s Soccer Coach participated in the annual World of Work program sponsored by the Swarthmore Rotary Club. The program is designed to give students an opportunity to learn from local business people and educators how “school related skills” are involved in the world of work.
