    The Makerspace has an open library of tools for you to learn and put to use. We provide certification sessions for use of woodshop power tools, and you can sign up for a time for that course here<\/a>.

    You can see the types of unique, creative, functional projects your colleagues and classmates get up to in the space, and quickly learn how to produce your own personal designs and objects with easy-entry techniques. Or, stay longer and dig into a project that takes more knowledge and know-how, aided by student techs in the Makerspace.

    The prime reason, as ever, to visit the Makerspace this semester is to find a cohort of curious and clever friends to make things along with. Find new traction on group projects in the physical fabrication realm. Peer over someone’s shoulder to see what they’re working on. And above all, feel welcomed and encouraged to try things outside your normal lane.
