End of the Semester Help for Faculty"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Here are a few ideas from ITS to help with end-of-the-semester tasks.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timed Take-Home Exams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to give a take home exam, you can now use either a Moodle quiz or Assignment to administer and collect the exam.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kb.swarthmore.edu\/display\/MOODLE\/Creating+a+Timed+Take-Home+Exam+using+a+Moodle+Assignment\">Creating a Timed Take-Home Exam using a Moodle Assignment<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kb.swarthmore.edu\/display\/MOODLE\/Creating+a+timed+quiz+or+exam+in+Moodle\">Creating a timed quiz or exam in Moodle<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Moodle is effective at allowing students to see (only) their own grades and calculating course grades.  Even if you don&#8217;t use Moodle for teaching, it is possible to upload a csv file with grades to share with students.  More information at <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.swarthmore.edu\/display\/MOODLE\/Grading+in+Moodle\">Grading in Moodle<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Evaluations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ITS has a number of systems that can be used to run course evaluations.  See our help page with information about how to choose: <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.swarthmore.edu\/display\/ACADTECH\/Course+Evaluations\">Course Evaluations<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparing for Spring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All of the Spring 2024 Moodle courses have been created.  If you&#8217;ve finished everything else, you can get started on setting up your spring courses!
