As we all gear up for the new semester, Swarthmore&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/its\/academic-technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Academic Technology<\/a> team is offering several supportive workshops to help people get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Academic Technology supports the use of technology in teaching, learning, and research. Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/its\/its-staff#academic-technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">staff<\/a>\u00a0provides expertise on a range of resources and activities including learning spaces, Moodle, academic software, <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.swarthmore.edu\/display\/ALLY\/Accessibility+Home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accessibility<\/a>, software development, and support for research computing. We operate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/language-and-media-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Language Center, Media Center<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/makerspace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MakerSpace<\/a>, which provide dynamic and flexible learning spaces that support digital initiatives and encourage technological exploration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Register for one of our upcoming workshops below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Getting Started With Moodle<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mon Aug 22, 2:00 &#8211; 3:30 PM (EDT)\u00a0Zoom Meeting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This online session is for you if you\u2019re new to Moodle or need a refresher to help you get started. During this session, we\u2019ll cover the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Edit course settings<\/li><li>Copy from a previous course<\/li><li>Merge 2 sections of a course<\/li><li>Upload documents, images, and links<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Moodle Assignments and Exams<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wed Aug 24, 10:00 &#8211; 11:15 AM (EDT)\u00a0Zoom Meeting\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested in creating assignments and exams within Moodle?
