Image courtesy of Panopto.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multi-language ASR, search, and captions&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>AI-powered caption translation<\/strong> can now be requested by customers, allowing for simple, one-step language translation based on ASR or service-created captions.<\/li><li>The\u00a0<strong>ASR caption and search language<\/strong>\u00a0can now be set per folder or per department.\u00a0 This enables administrators to set the preferred ASR caption language for the expected input so that captioning can reflect the language used in the initial recording<\/li><li><strong>ASR reprocessing<\/strong>\u00a0allows customers to easily switch languages when a specific video was recorded in a different language than the pre-set default language for its containing folder<\/li><li>An update to the automated speech-to-text engine has\u00a0<strong>improved ASR caption quality<\/strong>, across all supported languages.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hTargetInstance1\">FAQ\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the expected accuracy of the feature?\u00a0<\/strong>Machine-generated captions are not the same as human transcriptions; as such, reviewing and editing automatic machine captions for accuracy is recommended.
