This workshop will cover how to deliver a remote class using Zoom including setting up a session, sharing slides, breakout rooms, recording the lecture, sharing the video with students, using an iPad or tablet as a whiteboard, and common troubleshooting tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Using Zoom to teach remotely” workshop recording<\/a> (Swarthmore login required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday January 13, 2022 10:00am-11:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aimed at first-time Moodle users, this workshop will cover how to add your course materials to Moodle, manage class participants, communicate with students, and provide an overview of the different activities available to faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “Introduction to Moodle” workshop recording<\/a> (Swarthmore login required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday January 13, 2022 2:00pm-3:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n This workshop will demonstrate how to use an iPad or drawing tablet as a digital whiteboard for remote classes, create videos to share with students, and annotate and grade assignments.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Using tablets for teaching and grading” workshop recording<\/a> (Swarthmore login required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday January 14, 2022 10:00am-11:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are a number of services available to facilitate interaction among faculty and students when teaching a remote class. These can be used to introduce students to each other at the beginning of a semester as well as create a place for questions and discussion.
