Gradescope can be used with paper, online, or programming assessments and is designed to reduce the time and effort needed for instructors to grade and provide feedback.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gradescope may be especially useful for faculty that want to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Give a paper exam and are looking for faster or more flexible grading options, including the ability to easily revise scores and improve consistency<\/li><li>Analyze data on student performance for each question <\/li><li>Distribute work to student graders<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Gradescope is less compelling for work that requires extensive commenting or handwritten feedback such as a 10 page paper.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t yet have a Gradescope account, you can log in with your Swarthmore account on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradescope.com\/saml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>.  To help you get started, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradescope.com\/get_started\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">short videos<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.gradescope.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Help Center<\/a>.   The <a href=\"https:\/\/gradescope.wistia.com\/medias\/5c0cosnqpj\">Getting Started with Gradescope<\/a> video gives an overview of the service.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gradescope also hosts <a href=\"https:\/\/info.gradescope.com\/remote-assessments-workshops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">weekly workshops<\/a> on Thursdays at 12pm eastern time that include a quick walkthrough of the platform and information on how to get the most out of Gradescope.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve linked Moodle to Gradescope to make it easy to sync your class roster with Gradescope.
