Sign up for an individually scheduled session with an Academic Technologist in the Beardsley Media Center August 27th – 29th. Come with any questions you may have about using Moodle from getting started to using the gradebook. We are happy to help!<\/p>\n
Sign up for a one-on-one session<\/a><\/p>\n Join us Wednesday August 28th, 2019 for our first Teaching with Tablets workshop lunch discussion of the year! For the past several years now, ITS has collaborated with faculty to create a learning community around using iPad Pros and mobile apps for teaching and learning. As part of the program, we offer a small group of faculty a chance to use an iPad Pro or a Microsoft Surface Pro with stylus for academic purposes over the course of one academic year. Since 2016, over 40 faculty have been a part of the program and have joined the learning community. Through this community we have found great potential for using iPad Pros in supporting blended learning and increasing student engagement.<\/p>\n During our workshop, we\u2019ll demonstrate some of the most popular apps that faculty have found most useful. You\u2019ll also get a chance to hear from faculty who\u2019ve been a part of the program and how they\u2019ve used tablets in the past. If you have some ideas about using an iPad in the future please bring your questions! We’d love for you to attend and hear the experiences of fellow faculty.
