Did your account get locked after hours?<br \/>\nWait a full 30 minutes for your account to unlock on its own before trying again.<\/p>\n<p>2. Did you know that we have online tutorials for free, 24\/7\/365? Pick a topic, watch a short video:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/itstrainings\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/itstrainings<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Have a guest visiting campus? Have them connect to SwatGuest and open a web browser<br \/>\n(e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari) for further instructions on how to connect to wireless.<\/p>\n<p>4. Do you know what phishing is? Report suspected phishing emails to phishing{at}swarthmore.edu<\/p>\n<p>5. Do your voicemails sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks or Droopy Dog?<br \/>\nWhile listening to a voicemail, you can press \u20184\u2019 to slow down messages and \u20186\u2019 to speed them up.<\/p>\n<p>6. Did you (or \u201ca friend\u201d) spill something on your laptop and wonder what to do next?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/laptopspills\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/laptopspills<\/a><\/p>\n<p>7. How do you find your Employee ID number? Hint: it\u2019s not the one on your ID card!<br \/>\nYou can find it on mySwarthmore (<a href=\"https:\/\/myswat.swarthmore.edu\">https:\/\/myswat.swarthmore.edu<\/a>), printed on your payroll, or by calling HR.<\/p>\n<p>8. Is email from someone you know being sent to the Quarantine? Log into<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/messagecenter.swarthmore.edu\">http:\/\/messagecenter.swarthmore.edu<\/a> and add their email address to your allow list.<\/p>\n<p>9. If Thunderbird is slow, go to the File menu and choose \u201cCompact Folders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>10. If you call the Help Desk and get our voicemail, don\u2019t hang up!
