Starting next Tuesday, August 9th at 9 AM, wireless devices may need to go through a one-time setup procedure to continue using wireless networking at Swarthmore.\u00a0 This procedure is required because we will be implementing a new wireless authentication server using a new security certificate at that time.\u00a0 The procedure will automatically configure your device to work with the new server.\u00a0 The process takes less than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n
On or after, August 9th, if you loose your connection or can’t get connected to wireless,<\/p>\n
Open up your wireless connection and choose the SwatWireless\u00a0 wireless network. Connect to it.<\/p>\n
Once connected, open up a browser and type SwatWireless\u00a0 into your browser’s address bar. You will automatically be forwarded to the SwatWireless connection pages. You may be prompted to accept a certificate for the website you entered. Accept it. Follow the instructions to launch the registration application which will guide you through the rest of the process.<\/p>\n
