Broad Street.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 3, 4, 10, 11. (Fringe  Festival).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/groundswellplay.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The  Groudswell Players<\/a> will make their collective debut with the world  premiere of HOW TO SOLVE A BEAR.\u00a0 The company includes Jesse Paulsen \u201909  and Emma Ferguson \u201910.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performed at the Mainstage at  the Adrienne Theatre, 2030 Sansom Street.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 4, 6, 9, 12, 17 (Fringe  Festival).<\/p>\n<p>Director and digital media designer  Lars Jan \u201900 is collaborating with choreographer Nichole Canuso on the  world premiere of a dance-theater piece TAKES, by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nicholecanusodance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nichole  Canuso Dance Company<\/a>.\u00a0 Performing in the piece is Dito van  Reigersberg \u201994 (of Pig Iron Theatre Company).\u00a0 Technical and lighting  direction by LPAC Staff Office member Dave Todaro.\u00a0 TAKES was supported  in part by the Swarthmore Project in Theater.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at Theater West at  The Hub, (SW corner of 5<sup>th<\/sup> Street and Fairmount Avenue in  Northern Liberties).<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11,  17, 18\u00a0 (LiveArts Festival).<\/p>\n<p>Playwright and actor Adriano  Shaplin (part-time instructor of playwriting in the Department of  Theater) performs in the world premiere of his latest play FREEDOM CLUB,  a collaboration between his company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theriotgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Riot Group<\/a> and Philadelphia\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newparadiselaboratories.org\/home.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Paradise Laboratories<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at the Arts Bank,  601 S. Broad Street (corner of South Street).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11  (LiveArts Festival).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pigiron.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pig Iron Theatre  Company<\/a> is presenting the world premiere of their latest production,  CANKERBLOSSOM, directed by Dan Rothenberg \u201995.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at Christ Church  Neighborhood House, 20 N. American Street (near 2<sup>nd<\/sup> &amp;  Market Streets).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,  14, 15, 16, 17, 18 (LiveArts Festival).<\/p>\n<p>Dance faculty member and  choreographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livearts-fringe.org\/blog\/index.cfm\/Jumatatu-Poe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jumatatu Poe<\/a> \u201904 is presenting the world premiere of  his piece <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livearts-fringe.org\/details.cfm?id=12965\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNSTUCK<\/a> on a double bill with choreographer Eun Jung  Choi.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at the Live Arts  Studio, 919 N. 5<sup>th<\/sup> Street (at Poplar Street in Northern  Liberties).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 11, 12 (Live Arts  Festival).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/greenchairdancegroup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green  Chair Dance Group<\/a> is performing in GRAVITY THEATER, a collaboration  with InMovement Dance and Amanda Varone.\u00a0 Green Chair Dance Group  consists of Sarah Gladwin-Camp \u201905, John Beauregard \u201905, Greg Holt \u201905,  and Hannah de Keijzer \u201906.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at InMovement  Studio, 737 S. 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street (South Philadelphia).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 15, 16.<\/p>\n<p>Greg Holt \u201905 is performing in the  world premiere of choreographer Brian Sanders\u2019 SANCTUARY, presented by  his company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Brian-Sanders-JUNK\/107352071829\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Junk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Performances at Theater East at  The Hub <em>(SW corner of 5<sup>th<\/sup> Street and Fairmount Avenue in   Northern Liberties).<\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>September 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 16,  17, 18 (LiveArts Festival)<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about these  and the many other performances in the LiveArts-Fringe program this year  can be found in hard copies of the festival guide that are available in  the LPAC Lower Lobby (outside the LPAC Staff Office) or by going to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livearts-fringe.org\/\">www.livearts-fringe.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Tickets can be bought any  time on line by going to the festival website and selecting \u201cShows\u201d.\u00a0  The festival box office will be open starting August 23 at The Hub (at  the SW corner of 5<sup>th<\/sup> and Fairmount Streets) in Northern  Liberties.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swarthmore theater and dance alumni, faculty, and staff are again strongly represented in this year\u2019s Philadelphia LiveArts-Fringe Festival, running September 3-18, 2010.
