As part of a city-wide celebration, \u201cQueer Anthologies\u201d explores some of Swarthmore College\u2019s rich archival resources for the study of the history of LGBTQ activism.<\/p>\n<p>Photographs, artist\u2019s books, personal papers, organizational records, ephemera, periodicals, and other materials illustrate the history of queer communities at Swarthmore College, in the Society of Friends (Quakers), in the Peace Movement, and in the wider world.<\/p>\n<p>Included are selections from the Swarthmore College Archives, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/friends-historical-library\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Friends Historical Library<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/Library\/peace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Swarthmore College Peace Collection<\/a>, and Rare Book Room of McCabe Library.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From our friends in the Swarthmore College Peace Collection and Libraries Queer Anthologies: Selections from Swarthmore\u2019s Special Collections The exhibit will be on display November 17 to December 22, 2015 in the McCabe Library lobby.
