Aviva Chomsky<\/strong> is professor of history and coordinator of Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean studies at Salem State University in Massachusetts. Her most recent books<\/a> include A History of the Cuban Revolution<\/em>, Linked Labor Histories: New England, Colombia, and the Making of a Global Working Class<\/em>, and They Take Our Jobs! And Twenty Other Myths about Immigration<\/em>. She has been active in Latin America solidarity and immigrants\u2019 rights movements for several decades.<\/p>\n

\"Prof.<\/p>\n

Noam Chomsky<\/strong> joined the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1955, where he is institute professor and professor of linguistics emeritus. Chomsky has written and lectured widely on\u00a0linguistics, philosophy, intellectual history, contemporary issues, international affairs, and United States foreign policy. Among his recent books<\/a> are New Horizons in the Study of Language and Mind<\/em>; On Nature and Language<\/em>; The Essential Chomsky<\/em>; Hopes and Prospects<\/em>; Gaza in Crisis<\/em>; How the World Works<\/em>; 9-11<\/em>: Was There an Alternative?<\/em>; Making the Future: Occupations, Interventions, Empire, and Resistance<\/em>; The Science of Language<\/em>; Peace with Justice<\/em>: Noam Chomsky in Australia<\/em>; and Power Systems<\/em>.<\/p>\n
