{"id":3980,"date":"2012-10-05T17:19:20","date_gmt":"2012-10-05T17:19:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.swarthmore.edu\/academics\/?p=3980"},"modified":"2024-04-22T14:37:23","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T18:37:23","slug":"making-moves-with-idiosyncrazy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.swarthmore.edu\/academics\/music-and-dance\/2012\/10\/05\/making-moves-with-idiosyncrazy\/","title":{"rendered":"Making Moves with idiosynCrazy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Making Moves<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3981\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.swarthmore.edu\/academics\/music-and-dance\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2012\/10\/1-300x2121.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" \/>This fall Swarthmore College\u2019s Dance Program continues an exciting partnership with Philadelphia dance\/theater company, idiosynCrazy productions.\u00a0 Performers from idiosynCrazy productions will work collaboratively with Swarthmore students in the exploration and discussion of methodology, performance, practice, and creation of dance.\u00a0 This year, the focus will be on the process of dance creation and rigorous performance tools.\u00a0 The project will culminate in a Spring semester showing\/sharing in Troy Dance Studio.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning in November 2012, this project will span both the Fall and Spring semesters.
