Title: Summer Technical Support Associate (Summer Upgraders)
Classification: Category III pay rate
Hours: 8:30-4:30 weekdays; starting late May until early August.
Duties: Upgrade faculty/staff computers according to described procedure. This includes backing up files on the old computer, configuring new computer, installing files on the new computer, installing software and removal of old computer hardware.
Candidate should be:
1) very comfortable with the Mac OS and Windows XP Operating Systems
2) able to lift and move heavy computer equipment around campus
3) able to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
4) able to work during the full scheduled time period
