Sophomore Genny Pezzola had 11 kills and 29 digs but still remains three kills away from the Jen Wang’s single season record of 361.

The Swarthmore College volleyball team moved to 15-6 overall and 5-1 in conference – its most wins in a single season since joining the Centennial Conference – as it knocked off Muhlenberg College 3-1 on Tuesday night. SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Freshman Kathryn Montemurro finished with 16 kills in a conference battle against Johns Hopkins, but it wasn’t enough as Swarthmore (13-6, 3-1) fell to the Blue Jays 3-2 from Tarble Pavilion on Thursday night. The loss is the Garnet’s first Centennial defeat of the season.
LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore Genny Pezzola of the Swarthmore College volleyball team has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for the week ending October 6, the conference announced on Tuesday. This is the second time this season that Pezzola has been named Player of the Week; she shared the honor with McDaniel’s Taylor Herrgott for the week ending September 13.
