Swarthmore finished in fourth place at this year’s Northeast Collegiate Tournament held in Tarble Pavilion on Saturday. Cornell edged out Boston University on a tiebreaker after both teams finished with 22.5 points. Penn placed third with 14.5 points while the Garnet compiled 13.5 on the day.

Jessica Larson ‘06 captured the C Flight Singles title at the 2004 Mid-Atlantic Classic.
Larson also teamed with Candice Cherk ‘07 to advance to the semifinal round of the C Flight Doubles along with Maisha Howard ‘08 and Anna Ruff ‘06.

With the graduation of four seniors, the 2004-05 badminton team will be a young sqad. Even so, the team looks to equal or better its performance from last year’s PAIAW co-championship season.
