Langley had a sensational offensive week for the Garnet, scoring three goals - all in a thrilling victory against Gettysburg - and adding two assists to lead the Garnet to a 2-0 week in the Centennial Conference.

In the 4-3 victory over Gettysburg, Langley netted the game-winning goal on a bicycle kick in the 89th minute while recording his first career hat trick to propel Swat to the thrilling victory. With 10 goals for the season, Langley becomes the first Swarthmore player to record double-digit goals for a season since 1995 -  accomplishing the feat in just 10 games.

This is Langley's first Player of the Week honor for the 2009 season and the Garnet's second overall; sophomore Gage Newman was named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 13.

Langley currently leads the Centennial Conference in points (23) and is tied for the lead in goals (10).

The No. 7 Garnet return to action on Wednesday when it travels to No. 24 Richard Stockton. Action is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
